ARCHITECT – BALIKOURAS GIORGOS + ARCHINSTINCT TEAM
LOCATION ERYTHRAIA/ NORTH ATHENS
CONSTRUCTION DATE – 2025
Erythraia project is a modern architectural design characterized by clean lines, minimalistic features, and a harmonious blend of materials.
The exterior features a combination of white plaster and stucco, wood paneling ,concrete and large glass windows. The mix of these materials adds texture and visual interest to the facade. Large, floor-to-ceiling windows are a prominent feature, allowing for ample natural light and creating a sense of openness. The windows also provide a connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces. A flat roof, a common feature in modern architecture, contributes to the sleek and uncluttered look of the building.
The building incorporates greenery in the form of planters on the upper level, which adds a touch of nature and enhances the modern aesthetic. This integration of plants softens the geometric lines and adds a sustainable element to the design. Horizontal lines, evident in the extended rooflines and the alignment of the windows and wood panels. creates a sense of stability and calmness .
Overall, the building’s architecture is a fine example of contemporary design, focusing on simplicity, functionality, and a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living spaces.
